We are Laura and Megan, Golden twins with a shared dream of seeking out magic and finding beauty wherever we go. After making our way through fashion school in New York City and launching our first curated shop in 2015, we felt it was time to create our very own line of dresses - the ultimate dream we have always imagined going after together. We pictured dresses that would make us feel effortlessly beautiful and radiate the feeling that we have in our hearts while adventuring to our favorite places. Just as important, we wanted our brand to be made sustainably and reflect our love for the earth. Our hope is that when you wear Golden Girl, you feel a bit of golden magic sewn into each dress.

This collection of dresses was built with the belief that sustainability is just as important as beauty, and that the right dress can evoke a feeling that sets the tone for your entire day. We believe feeling beautiful inspires a confidence in all of us that can lead to any dream coming true.

Having spent the last decade exploring all different facets of the fashion industry, it was fate and timing that brought us to a charming southern city that would catapult our love for design and open our eyes to an indescribable beauty- strong enough to inspire our brand.

Living with intention to be mindful of the earth whenever possible, careful consumption is the cornerstone of Golden Girl, with a focus on sustainability and the movement towards eco-consumerism becoming second nature. We are commited to transparency in our processes and are always striving to educate ourselves to be better.
